For round tables that seat two to 12 people, follow these size guidelines:
Most common
- 72” table – Use either a 132” round tablecloth that hangs to the floor or a 90” square tablecloth over round linen.
- 60” table – Use either a 120” round tablecloth that reaches the floor or a 90” square tablecloth over a round tablecloth.
- 48” table – Use either a 108” round tablecloth that touches the floor or a 54” square tablecloth that sits over a round tablecloth.
Cabs
- 30” table – Use a 90” round tablecloth that touches the floor.
- 36” table – For these tables, use either a 96” round tablecloth that reaches the floor or a 120” round tablecloth with a table cuff or tie.

- 42” table – These tables work with 108” round tablecloths that puddles 3” long to the floor.
- 54” table – You can use a 120” round tablecloth that puddles 3” on the floor.
- 66” table – You can use a 132” round tablecloth that puddles 3” on the floor.
- 90”-96” table – You can use either four 132” round tablecloth overlaps to cover to the floor with a custom fit or a 132” round tablecloth that sits over a round linen.

Here are the sizes of tablecloths you’ll need for banquet tables, which seat between four to eight people:
Common Buffets / Rectangular Tables
- 6’ (72”x30”) table – Use a 90”x132” tablecloth that hangs to the floor or a 90”x156” tablecloth that you will need to tuck under on the narrow ends.
- 8’ (96”x30”) table – Tablecloths will need to be a 90”x156″ tablecloth that hangs to the floor.
King Table
- 8’x48” table – These tables need either a 108”x156” tablecloth that touches the floor on all sides or two 90″x156” overlapped tablecloths.
Other
- 5’ (60”x30”) table – These tables will require a tablecloth that’s 90”x132”, with the sides on the narrow end of the table tucked under the table or a 120” round and customized front to back.

- 36” table – The tablecloth for a 36” square table will need to be 96” round that only touches the floor on the center sides and scalloped on the corners, 108”-132” round with a custom fit, or 90” square and custom fit.
- 48” table – Tablecloths for 48” square tables will need to be either 108” round that only touches the floor on the center sides and scalloped on the corners, or 120”-132” round and customized to fit.
- 60” table – Tablecloths will need to be 120” square and to the floor, two 90”x132” banquet tablecloths long on two ends, 132” round with a custom fit, or 90” square and used with an under cloth.
- 60”x72” table – Tablecloths need to be 132” that only touches the floor on the center sides and scalloped on the corners, 132” square with a custom fit, or two 90”x132” banquet tablecloths that overlap until the linen hits the floor on all sides.
- 72” table – These will require tablecloths that are 142” square and touching the floor, two 132” round tablecloths touching the floor on two sides, or two 90”x132” banquet tablecloths overlapping until the linen touches the floor on all sides.
Half Round Tablecloth Sizes
Half round tables will seat between four and seven people, and the tablecloth sizes are as follows:
- 60” table – Fit these tables with either a 120” -132” custom-fit round tablecloth or a 90” square tablecloth that sits over a round tablecloth.
- 72” table – Fit these tables with a 132” custom-fit round tablecloth or a 90” square tablecloth that sits over a round tablecloth.
- 90”-96” table – Cover with either a 120”-132” round tablecloth over a round linen or skirting, or a 108” round tablecloth over round linen.
Sizes of Tablecloths for Serpentine Tables
Sizes of tablecloths for serpentine tables will include:
- 5’-6’ table – Cover with a 132” round tablecloth that’s customized to fit, a 90” square tablecloth over a round linen, a 72”x120” tablecloth over round linen, a 120”-132” round tablecloth over round linen, or a custom-fit 90”x156” banquet tablecloth.
- 7’-8’ table – You can use two 132” round custom-fit tablecloths, two 90” square tablecloths over round linen or skirting, a 120”-132” round tablecloth over round linen, or two 90”x156” custom-pleated banquet tablecloths.
- 9’-10’ table – You can use two 132” round custom-fit tablecloths, two 90” square tablecloths over round linen, or a 120”-132” round tablecloth over round linen.
