Trend Alert: Event Décor Inspired by Nature

For a look that’s spring-like but not overly feminine or floral, we love the way this looks like it jumped off the movie screen from Lord of the Rings. A living centerpiece of different mosses and plants is a dramatic look without being too over the top. It’s a great match for this somewhat-masculine looking tablescape.

What we love most about this look is the way the Blue Twist table linen and Navy Shantung napkin mimic the look of a nighttime sky, and the large trees in the room made the whole event feel like it was outdoors, even though it was inside.

This would be a perfect setup for a nighttime wedding, especially if you wanted it to feel somewhat, well, magical. The impossibility of trees and nighttime sky indoors makes this event look spectacular and unforgettable.

Sweet Favors

Subtle yet charming, this setup of wedding favors was, well, sweet! This basket of treats was set up upon a bed of grass, a perfect way to showcase the natural look of the small favor bags. It’s a fun and easy way to incorporate a pop of color and freshness to your décor.

Rustic and Woodsy

Finally, we have a look that’s lush and woodsy, while still looking inviting and delicate.

Instead of large floral bouquets and garlands of blooms, we have strands and branches of rosemary, thick tree trunks, and succulents acting as the living décor. It’s a more literal approach to the natural look, but we love it for being a romantic theme that can be adapted to any number of events.

Even the dessert plate was theme-appropriate, with painted French macaroons enticing guests, topped with another succulent made of molded chocolate.

The place settings featured clear glass plates with textured edges that evoked the look of a leaf, and the Celadon Lamour napkin added a soft shade of green to the array of rich hues used.
