When you’re decorating a table for a romantic Valentine’s Day event—wedding, anniversary party, or otherwise—there are plenty of ways to infuse the theme of love into the look.

This is the perfect time to hold nothing back when it comes to detail—think gorgeous, fully bloomed flowers and bouquets, delicately designed plates with scalloped edges, luxurious table linen to set the table, crystal stemware and, of course, sweets for your sweet—a dessert bar!

We love the look at this event, which featured soft lighting giving a pale purple tint to the venue, making everyone experience the romantic feel from the second they walked in the door.

Each Table Setting a Dream

We love the way that multiple plates, in gradually smaller sizes, look when stacked on top of each other. Each plate, including the Sea Sponge Pearl White Charger, features a different pattern, too, for additional creativity and beauty. 03_-_Charger_Plates.jpg

A beautiful script place card marked where each guest would sit , and each setting featured stemware that matched the look perfectly, made of both glass and silver metal—a truly stunning look.

The soft Silver Shantung table linen paired gorgeously with the White Lamour napkin, as well.

Lush and Lovely Floral Arrangements

Playing up the romance at an event means using plenty of gorgeous flowers. The blooms featuring shades of pink, peach, ivory, and white look perfect against the bright green stems and leaves, and pale silver table linen.

Sweets Abound

One of the highlights of this event was the assortment of sweets served to guests. These included hand-dipped cake pops as well as bite-size treats, plus lovely pink French macarons and cupcakes with a cloud of white frosting.

This event looked sweet and romantic without being syrupy or too over the top—perfect for an upscale Valentine’s Day celebration. If you’re thinking about having your engagement party, wedding, or anniversary party over the Valentine’s Day holiday—or just want a soft, romantic theme—this would be a perfect look for it.
