The arrival of spring always brings with it a new zest and spirit. This year, the emergence of fresh new color choices has prompted smiles on our lips and songs in our souls. The one fashion color we love the most is Niagara, noted by the Pantone Fashion Color Report as the most prevalent color for spring 2017, amid a palette of unique hues that we'll be seeing everywhere in coming months.

BBJ Linen has built a new collection around Blue. We think it's a winner, and we'll be showing you a number of ways to incorporate the new blues into spring events. There are three different blues included in Pantone’s top 10 colors for spring: deep and moody Lapis, the watery pale of Island Paradise, and the youthful aura of Niagara.

Spring Color Crush

Following Pantone's lead for spring color, BBJ chose to use Niagara as inspiration for a pattern that is fresh and inspiring, and feels sprung from the earth. We love the way the swirling pattern of Azure Agate adds energy and verve to a table setting. Little else in needed to make a spectacular statement at any special event.

Highlight Pattern with a Golden Glow

The depth of color in this stone-line grain allows for drama with the addition of simple accessories. Golden chargers add depth with subtle pattern, while golden flatware, grey menu cards and unadorned motives complete the theme. Nothing is contrived, and it's all beautiful!

Uniquely Understated

Using a bold pattern as table linen may not be a standard option, but we love the high style look of this setting. And who isn't ready for a bit of a drama come spring? The traditional formal fold of a solid Niagara napkin keeps it in line.

Minding the Details

Even though they're not immediately noticeable, the inspired choice of polished earth-toned pottery to hold mini-bouquets reinforces the natural, earthy theme. The repeating circular layers of rose petals echo the stone-like grain of the linen.

Subtle and Serene

Pantone notes that the classic denim-like blue of Niagara "speaks to our desire for ease and relaxation." We at BBJ believe that Azure Agate creates a fresh and inviting vibe, event to the most vibrant occasions.

We look forward to seeing all of the linen in our Blue Collection used in new and innovative ways this spring!
